My little sister and I were pretty young, but I can remember like it was yesterday. My mom would make sure we were both all ready for bed, and if we were finished before 7 o’clock, she promised to do our absolute favorite thing— story time!! This wasn’t just some ordinary storytime with picture books… no, this was freestyled, off-the-cuff, pro-mom-status, made-up story time. You see, my parents actually met at acting school in their 20’s so they’re both a little crazy (and very dramatic), but this made for THE BEST story times. Stories with talking sharks hanging out with lazy sea lions; mischievous bunnies taking over New York City; and a beautiful fairy named Gladys Knight who fought off evil Trolls with her singing. This special, little thing my mom would do, gave my imagination wings and allowed me to realize that anything was possible if I just believed it.

Little Buckets was formed out of this passion. A passion to inspire your child to let their dreams roam free and their imagination run wild. We want this little boutique to be a place for you to get the things that will inspire your child to dream big and think loud. Who knew a Shark Jumpsuit could turn your little nugget into the superhero of the sea?? Or a Teddybear bucket hat could turn your child into a friendly bear trying to escape from the San Diego Zoo to achieve his life-long dream of becoming a world-class skateboarder!

There are so many ways to explore your child’s imagination, and we’re honored that our shop could even have a tiny part in that venture. So stay here as long as you like, and don’t be shy! We’d love to hear from you :)
